This will be my third or fourth incarnation of this blog or website on this personal domain name. I am hoping that the current roughness will be worked at and turned into something highly polished.
I graduated from the University of Technology Sydney in September of 2009, and have been working in a hydrology firm in Castle Hill.
I am available for hire as a graduate Civil Engineer. I have experience using AutoCAD for plan preparation, ILSAX and XP-RAFTS for hydrology of both large and small catchments for flooding and stormwater drainage. I also have knowledge in the use of MUSIC (Model for Urban Stormwater Improvement Conceptualisation) for modelling of water quality.
I understand the concepts and principals of engineering surveying, and can work with total stations and levels to gather data about a property or building.
I have worked on a wide variety of projects including feasibility studies for on-site wastewater disposal, preparation of Development Applications and Construction Certificate plans for stormwater drainage of residential, commercial and industrial developments in a wide number of Local Councils, river restoration works to address ecology and flooding concerns. I have also been involved in the preparation of plans for minor civil works.
